Ennanga

Ashley’s debut solo album, Ennanga, explores the musical and spiritual connections between various forms of American musical expression. It features her harp transcriptions of works by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Alice Coltrane, as well as original compositions by William Grant Still and Brandee Younger. While Ennanga celebrates the centrality of the African American spiritual to the history of American music, it also highlights the artistry of black composers who have consistently redefined the American musical landscape.
Ennanga was released on June 16, 2023 (Bright Shiny Things), and is available on all streaming platforms.
